Who in society today has a ';good image'; that is really false?

What is their reputation like, and do they believe that ';keeping the small rules, will help break the bigger ones';Who in society today has a ';good image'; that is really false?
I'm not sure what this has to do with books, but the answer could be anyone who is living a lie in some way. For instance, you could find a man whose reputation is that of an upstanding member of the community who does good and is benevolent but in secret delves into child pornography. So, anyone who is living a ';double life'; would qualify. If you are talking about specific people, I won't judge but I'll give some headline examples. Michael Vick who is a good player and has a reputation of a seemingly nice guy and suddenly there are allegations of brutality and inhumane treatment of dogs. That doesn't fit his previous image. Senator Craig is another example; O.J. Simpson is another person I could site. I don't know if they, or anyone else like this, believes that keeping the so-called small rules helps them hide the fact that they are breaking larger ones, but it would stand to reason. If not, they wouldn't have had a good reputation to begin with - they must LOOK good so they must be acting good in some ways.
